TOKYO, JAPAN — November 30, 2023 — DEN-ON INSTRUMENTS, CO., LTD. A leader in prototyping and rework of advanced SMT assemblies is pleased to announce that it will partner with Aquillius Corporation a company that focuses on the advancement of Medical Science, Life Science and Technology and will showcase our advanced model the RD500V series prototyping and rework machine for handling SMT applications.

The RD-500V series Development and Rework Stations features DEN-ONs Ultra HD camera with a 19" LCD display for easy visual alignment. The RD500V series stations are equipped with powerful built-in 1000W localized convection heaters on both the top-and bottom-side, and an area heater that can range from 2.0 kw - 4.8kw quick heating IR heaters. Precise profiling including detailed temperature curves can be executed by closely controlling and editing up to 30 zones individually.

The machines closed loop heating control can sample the data in very small intervals of 0.1 sec, allowing extremely accurate temperature management.
This model will include the all-in-one in technology that can handle the very smallest of components from 01005 to the very largest which will also be displayed with our advanced tools for technology of the future, including:

• On-the-Fly Profiling
• Programmable Height for Z Axis
• Programmable Placement Force
• Programmable Micro Placement Speed Control
• Product Tracker
• Alignment Vision Save
• Self Contained Nitrogen Generator

We are also very pleased to announce that Aquillius will act as our demonstration hub and facility for small prototype builds, research and development, and rework.
The facility will offer classes and in applications and process development for contract manufacturers, OEM, and developers of SMT products.
